The wall mount for a UST projector is different than for a medium- or long-throw projector and includes certain adjustments that are specific to UST projectors. If you're front projecting, there are more decisions to make, such as included security hardware, roll and tilt control, ceiling or wall mount, and wheter you are using a long/medium throw, short throw or ultra-short-throw projector. The projectors are not mounted, but rather sit on the floor beneath each screen, which takes up far less space and enables more of the rooms behind the screens to be utilized for storage, their original intent. It's not stellar, but it does produce a better image than the older units. I have a church client who is using 4000-lumen ultra-short-throw laser projectors to replace medium throw lamp projectors for a rear projection solution. Fortunately, the need for this kind of elaborate construction has become a bit rarer these days, but it does still exist. This involves some engineering as mirrors have to be used to bounce the image around until it gets large enough to fill the screen. In some cases, a custom enclosure has to be built for a rear projection system because the required depth is not available for the image to be as large as it needs to be. The first obvious step in ascertaining your mount type is to decide if you are front projecting or rear projecting for a new installation. It might seem elementary to talk about projector mounting, but the fact that there are so many options available on the market today justifies an understanding of what sets different mounts apart, and how your mounting location can be an important determining factor in which projector mount you need.

Heh, her passive-aggressive barbs amuse me, mostly for the way they annoy Reaper, who beams a glare at Shin and telepathically asks when they’ll be getting their gratitude for saving her life. She asks pointedly if they don’t have a car, and whether she’s dead and on her way to the afterlife, and whether they’ll be killing her now. Then it’s Reaper’s turn to step up, and he informs them of the story they will now believe: The two loan sharks fought, saw nothing else, and will never make up.Īfterward, as the three walk down the road, Eun-tak’s comments are snippy, as she’s still ticked off at everything that’s happened. Be thankful you won’t have to pay for them with me.” You can pay for your crimes at the police station. “In two days, fortunately, you’ll be found by the police. “You’ll hurt like death but you won’t die,” he states. Shin delivers their fate: For two days, this road will disappear from the map, making it impossible for anyone to help. He finds the loan sharks begging for help, trapped in the car that has tipped over. Shin assures her that he won’t kill them-he’ll just show him his anger, so that they’d wish they’d died instead. Reaper agrees that her logic makes more sense. She doesn’t believe his denial and points out that Reaper came along, and surely he wouldn’t have come to save her. Shin just tells her to wait here, but she chases after him to ask if he means to kill those loan sharks. When she finally recovers her words, she asks incredulously, “Am I okay? That’s what you ask? After you split a car like that?” I swear the Reaper half-rolls his eyes as he moves away from the car, and the lopsided thing crashes onto its open side, which makes Eun-tak jump and turn into Shin’s arms again. She takes his hand and stumbles into his arms, and looks a little moony-eyed when he asks if she’s okay. That seems unnecessary considering the whole open-air situation going on, but far be it from me to deny the hero his chivalry. When Eun-tak looks up, she sees Reaper standing by, and then Shin opens her car door to help her out. Shin reappears in the road carrying his flaming goblin sword (wait, so he could pull it out? Or are we just conveniently ignoring his curse right now?), and he tosses it away to retrieve Eun-tak’s scarf. Sarah Brightman scores the moment: Time to say goodbyyyyye….Įun-tak sobs in fear, but her half of the car slows safely to a stop. They try to make sense of the things when one half of the car goes one way, carrying the loan sharks, and the other half of the car goes the other, carrying Eun-tak. The car squeals forward, and as it does, a bluish-green light cuts through it, right down the middle. Goblin and Reaper seem to vanish, and one scared loan shark urges the other to punch the accelerator. The loan sharks wonder, “What are those guys? Men in black or what?” Then the headlight bulbs explode too, darkening the scene further. Goblin and Reaper, wonder twin powers activate! Off in the distance, two tall figures appear in the haze, gloriously backlit as they slooow-motion hero-walk toward the car. One by one, the street lamps explode, sending everything into blackness except the car’s headlights. The loan shark screeches the car to a halt, seeing something peculiar in the distance. He’s in the middle of his own mealtime cutlery war with Reaper, but upon sensing this, he lets his floating dinnerware crash to the table. Ah, so it wasn’t the lighter flame that calls the goblin, but the prayer? (Gong Yoo conjuring spell duly noted.)Īs Eun-tak prays, the birthmark on her neck flashes, and across town, somehow Shin senses it. We hear Samshin Grandma’s advice to her mother all those years ago, about praying earnestly in a moment of life or death, in case a weak-hearted god is listening. But despite that fantasy shell and the centuries-old gods and spirits at the center of the story, it’s the very human emotions and sorrows that make the drama feel present and gripping.Ībducted by her aunt’s loan sharks, Eun-tak squeezes her eyes shut and sends up a frantic, silent prayer. I wouldn’t say that the story is moving quickly, exactly-it likes to linger and draw out its moments-but it does feel quite packed and keeps us on the edge of our seats to know more, and the show upholds the moody, sentimental fantasy without betraying any breaks in the world, which I appreciate. New episodes premiere every Saturday.Īre you watching season two of A Discovery of Witches? Have you read the books? What do you think of the new season? Let me know in the comments.įeatured image credit: A Discovery of Witches Season 2 (Matthew and Diana). There are a few love scenes, some fantasy violence, and brief strong language. Thank goodness.Ĭontent Note: The episodes range between TV-14 and TV-MA. So, the wait for season three will be much shorter. Now, there is good news if you’re wary about waiting another two years. Oh, and there aren’t words to describe how much I love the young Jack – played by new talent Joshua Blue Pickering. The series is romantic without being saccharine and showcases a mature and authentic relationship between Matthew and Diana. Overall, A Discovery of Witches season two is captivating, romantic, addictive, and should appeal to a wide variety of viewers thanks to the excellent world-building, the first-rate cast, eye-catching cinematography, epic musical score, beautiful costumes, and excellent scripts. Still, it’s a mild complaint because I selfishly want more time in this world and with the characters. I think a few more episodes (perhaps expanding from 10 to 13) would have made season two perfect. If I had one complaint about the adaptation, it would be that some scenes and characters feel glossed over. The little details make all the difference. Thanks to Deborah Harkness’s expertise in Elizabethan history, the series – despite the fantasy premise – feels authentic to history. The expansion of Marcus and Phoebe’s love story will appeal to paranormal romance fans. Adelle Leonce is superb in the role of an art historian working at the Sotheby’s Auction House who falls in love with the mysterious Marcus. She’s sure to become a fan favorite quickly. I especially appreciated the fleshing out of Phoebe Taylor, a new character and love interest for Marcus. The story frequently shifts between the past and present – to give all the prominent cast members something to do. I thought it was a smart way to keep the intriguing contemporary characters in the forefront, letting us see what Matthew and Diana don’t know. While some characters from the book have been downsized and even others removed, the most significant difference is that the series spends more time in the present-day than the book does and even introduces plot points from book three early. Season two adapts book two in the All Souls Trilogy, Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness, and is incredibly close to the book material – so book fans should be pleased. Since it’s a TV show adaptation, there isn’t as much time to spend on each plot development or character. There is a lot of information and plot twists packed into season two, so make sure to review season one and pay close attention while watching the new season. Also, a mysterious new serial killer is on the loose, filled with blood rage. Meanwhile, danger lurks for Matthew and Diana’s family and friends in the present-day as the Congregation members threaten them. RELATED: 21 Time Travel TV Shows You Need to Binge-Watch They also cross paths with new characters, including Christopher “Kit” Marlowe (played perfectly by Victoria’s Tom Hughes), who is in love with Matthew and immediately hates Diana, Gallowglass (Steven Cree), Matthew’s vampire nephew and trusted friend, Queen Elizabeth (Barbara Marten), Louisa (Elaine Cassidy), Matthew’s vicious vampire sister, Philippe de Clairmont (James Purefoy), Matthew’s father, Goody Alsop (Sheila Hancock) as Diana’s witch mentor, the young Jack – who Matthew and Diana “adopt,” and more. Once encrypted, all files get locked and can no longer be accessed remotely by hackers or viruses. From here, you can select the keys you wish to use and share their details with recipients of the encrypted data. If you drag one in by accident, don’t freak out. Using my previous example, I’d drag my website design services page, my retainer design services page, my consulting services page, and maybe my onboarding page into that Services folder group, so that those are the pages which display in the drop-down. PRO TIP: It doesn’t matter where they currently are in the Pages menu, you can drag from Not Linked to Primary or Secondary nav if you want! Next, drag the pages into that folder group. make it clear what viewers will find there so they don’t give up & sign off. Don’t label it something that is cute, snarky, etc. My one tip here would be to make it clear & concise. So if you have a service based business, you could do add all of your pages for specific services under this drop-down category. It will automatically create space for you to title this section, and you’ll want to keep the title related to the content you’ll be placing inside. It will add a folder to that menu section, in this case the Primary Navigation area, since we want this to appear in the main menu of the website. In your Pages menu, click the + to add a new page type, then go to the bottom & select “Folder.” This feature is so easy to use that it can be done in about 60 seconds. How to create drop-down menus in your primary website navigation on Squarespace Since it’s not obvious, even to the technically savvy like my sister, I’m sharing this quick tutorial with you! Let’s get to it. All guides about Squarespace Scheduling also apply to Acuity the handful of features that are different are clearly marked. If you're coming from the Acuity Help Center, you'll find the help you need here. That situation made me realize that I had taken my own knowledge for granted & assumed she knew, but it’s actually not an obvious thing. Squarespace Scheduling and Acuity Scheduling have merged Help Centers. We’re actually in the middle of a total site redo anyway, so it’ll be fixed going forward. Once you have finished, click ‘Save’ at the top right of the page to save your changes. Webflows interactions and animations tools bring all the power of CSS and JavaScript into a completely visual tool, empowering designers to build complex. You can also drag and drop the page to the desired position in the navigation menu. I dropped the ball on that for her, not that she was pissed about it, but I felt a bit bad about missing that detail. To add a drop-down menu, simply click on the page you wish to add to the drop-down menu and then click on the ‘+’ icon. It was like that because she didn’t realize Squarespace has the ability to create drop-down menus, or how to do it obviously. So, imagine my stupid moment, when a couple years later, I realize she doesn’t like the long string of navigation links across the top. Actually, I set up the basics for her and she took it over from there, transforming it into whatever she needed it to be. My older sister’s gym website was one of my first client sites that I built on Squarespace. Ultimately, it will make you reach the path you need to continue with the game. With this, you are able to move objects, open doors or flood caves. If you make the fox bark standing on a particular set of blue flowers, you will gain a spirit power that will illuminate the fur. Spirit of the North manages to deliver an interesting storyline without any dialogue. Your journey together with the fox will bring you during the several chapters of this game through caves, mountains, lakes and forests. From the start, the music brings you into the atmospheric scene that fits the harsh landscape. It gives you an idea of where the journey will take you. The red fox stands out on this cold landscape, with above him a red path across the sky. The journey begins with you awaking in a thick snowy ground. So although a lot of game review sites made it look like Spirit of the North for the Switch was not worth to play, I was intrigued to find it out for myself. Let us start by saying that I’m not an official game reviewer. Better late than never, I decided to write my own review about this beautiful looking game. As I only bought a Nintendo Switch a few weeks ago, it took me a bit of time to get into the different games. In May 2020, Spirit of the North had a Switch release. The game was originally released for the Playstation back in November 2019. The story of the Spirit of the North game takes various pieces of Nordic folklore and brings them together into an amazing game experience. The game is inspired by the most beautiful, breathtaking and mysterious landscapes you can find in Iceland. The Spirit of the North game is a single player adventure game that you play with a 3rd person view. Let us take a closer look at it in my first Nintendo Switch review. Spirit of the North Switch offers a very atmospheric adventure playing as a fox. back to enjoying the beauty that is spirit of the north… Spirit of the north does have its pacing issues for the 2nd half of this 5 hour long game, but the overall package makes spirit of the north a must play for adventure and platforming fans… I give Spirit of the North a 7.Spirit of the North is a third person adventure game that follows a fox in an Icelandic landscape. back to enjoying the environment and music. let me breathe… thankfully towards the end, things start to go back to the way they should be. I would’ve loved moments like this thrown in between the puzzle solving rather than new puzzle area after new puzzle area. it would’ve bee na much more enjoyable experience just playing with the mechanics and not having to constantly find a flower to pill your energy from in between every switch press… its all just feels overwhelming in the final stretch, really making me miss those beginning moments when things were simple, and it was about enjoying the experience. spirit of the north becomes more puzzle platform and less puzzle adventure, here you’ll be activating symbols still, but not so much in a linear fashion, they now act as switches, so you’ll be in the same area running round figuring out which switch to throw to move onto the next switch until your able to leave the area, sometimes being introduced to a new ability to help you solve new puzzles, such as the ability to leave your body and activate switches out of reach to your solid form… an ability that has potential, but these puzzles proved to be a nuisance thanks to them being tied to a timer, and the switch so far out of reach that you don’t have a moment to spare on your way to activating it… overall I wish the spirit didn’t leave your body when youd activate a symbol, or destroy an object. The theme of the data fields, and their application is very extensive. In this issue, page numbering is very flexible in LibreOffice Writer, and allows for almost any fantasy of the author. Page numbers, surprisingly, can be not only Arabic numerals or Roman, but it can be even the letters of the alphabet (and not only the Latin or Cyrillic). The page numbering is creating of conventional symbols which indicate the location of a page in text. Writer allows us control completely what a normal user calls the footer, unlike many proprietary products. All these properties can be found in the page style (or its properties) in tabs Header, Footer and Page. It consists a field of indentation from the sheet edge (margins), the header/footer line (height) and indentation of the header/footer from the main text. The fact what a normal user got used to call the headers and footers has the exact structure in LibreOffice Writer. But in LibreOffice Writer there is no the side header, and this can do complexity, if you need to have such header. But in different countries and in different documents the use rules of headers/footers can vary widely. Typically page headers/footers repeat an information on each chapter pages, and there are not on the title page and inserts. In some countries there are also a side header. Page footers are placed the bottom of the page. Page headers are placed the top of the page. For example, the chapter title, author, page number.
